Samsung Fire and Marine Insurance Co. on Thursday reported its fourth-quarter net profit of 175.5 billion won (US$131.5 million), down 46.8 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that operating profit for the October-December period fell 34.5 percent on-year to 203.4 billion won. Revenue increased 11.5 percent to 5.11 trillion won.
